| As an event consultant, I travel a lot. So I need a notebook that's lightweight, has advanced functionality, and looks good. VAIO TX17GP/B's trim design and elegant sapphire black give my style distinction. Away on business last week, for example, I had more workspace on the plane with my slim and light VAIO TX17GP/B. I went from a design studio to a meeting, and then to the convention centre. When I'm on the go like that, the carbon body feels much lighter and stronger than conventional notebooks. Aboard a plane or emailing from a café, I never forget how the ultra-slim display fits any space. Another plus is the brilliant 11.1" wide Clear Bright LCD, with vivid colours and sharp images that enhance DVD viewing. Thanks to Bluetooth® and the optional Sony Ericsson headset, I can easily enjoy VoIP calls. What's more, I rely on VAIO TX17GP/B as my portable AV entertainment centre when it's time to relax. |

As a women's wear designer, I rely on VAIO TX17GP/B for productivity and staying connected. Dressed in chic sapphire black with trim design for ultra portability, VAIO TX17GP/B helps me look my best. And, on a recent business trip, I relied on its stamina and the powerful performance enhanced by Intel® Centrino Mobile technology. My client called on the morning of my departure, asking me to resend a sales file and bring another DVD of our fall show. Luckily, I made an extra DVD via Click to DVD at home the night before I left for the trip. I sent the file, disconnected all peripherals at once by detaching from the Optional Port Replicator, then headed off to the airport. Arriving in my client's city, I rushed off to our meeting, where I immediately connected VAIO TX17GP/B to the projector. With one simple connection, Plug and Display automatically began projection and adjusted resolution so I could concentrate on business. Thanks to VAIO TX17GP/B's VAIO Power Management Viewer and high-endurance battery, I could work smoothly and efficiently all day. |

Because of the AV capabilities and broad connectivity of VAIO TX17GP/B, I decided to buy one. Now I'm at a hot-spot café. I'll access the party photos I took at last Saturday's gallery opening with Instant Mode. Right. Now I'll just pick out the best, start Windows from Instant Mode, and send them off to friends via convenient built-in wireless LAN. Ah, here comes my cappuccino. Think I'll close my notebook and take a break, because my VAIO TX17GP/B starts up when opened. Time to check out my new CD. Starting VAIO Zone with just a push of the AV Mode button, I'll also use handy AV control buttons to listen to songs I fine tune with SonicStage Mastering Studio Auto Filter. With Sony's recommended headphone presets, the sound is just like a concert hall - a great accompaniment to this delicious cappuccino. My VAIO TX17GP/B gives me so many choices, maybe I'll stick around and have another cup. |

I really love my VAIO TX17GP/B for features that let me be as creative as I can. Shooting party photos and videos, I connect my Handycam* to VAIO TX17GP/B via i.LINK to import the video clips with DVgate Plus. I then edit with Adobe® Premiere® Standard for professional results. Next I insert Memory Stick Duo with my Cyber-shot* photos into the Memory Stick slot and use PictureGear Studio to import the files and make slideshows. As my VAIO TX17GP/B also features an SD slot, I've more flexibility for exchanging files with my friends. Click to DVD lets me combine video and photos into one DVD. The double-layer-compatible DVD±RW drive eases DVD creation with large movie files and high-quality images. I also collect music files from CDs and Net via SonicStage, organise them by album title, artist, etc., and transfer them to my Network Walkman*. Best of all, I can do this wherever I go with my versatile VAIO TX17GP/B.
