Life with VAIO
Kate's Day...
Seamless cooperation, regardless of distance
I'm on a global account sales team. Just heading in to work, listening to some good tunes using the headphones with my compact, lightweight VAIO T37GP. I really enjoy my VAIO T37GP — perfectly designed for active use, first class stamina for work, for music and DVDs, for anything. And I simply love the sophisticated look that "suits" my taste, plus the silver colour that matches any style, from business suits to casual wear. And, VAIO T37GP really "fits" my life! It's so slim and light that it simply slips into my favourite medium-sized bag, so I can take it everywhere – not just to the office and on trips, but shopping and having fun. Wherever I go, my VAIO T37GP is always in my bag, always at my fingertips! Anyway, I suddenly get a call from my teammate, Jack, who's overseas on a business trip. He needs an updated inventory file, right now! I hurry to a cafe with a "hot spot," reach into my bag, and whip out my VAIO T37GP. Its gently rounded edges fit in my hand and the slip-resistant brushed surface gives me a good grip, so I can feel secure about using VAIO T37GP on the go, even when I'm in a hurry. I simply open up my email, attach the file, and send the email reply. All done! Then, I change the music in VAIO Zone. Since I have the recommended headphones, I've got the best sound with special effects, too. Wow, that's my kind of sound! Well, time to go. I glance at my VAIO T37GP again, and don't want to put it away! It looks so sleek and refined, like an executive datebook. And the music sounds great, like a concert hall! Maybe I'll take a little detour to work...
Rush presentation success without the stress
Right before arriving at the office, I get another overseas call from Jack, asking me to check my email right away. So that's just what I do when I get into the lobby, thanks to the built-in wireless LAN 802.11b/g. I find his email with an attachment – a quarterly sales report plus presentation material for a sales meeting starting in a half-hour... Well, I'm ready to go – simply connect and output! I hook VAIO T37GP up to the projector, and resolution and aspect ratio adjust automatically, so I can make my presentation smoothly and conveniently. Next, I show a DVD video of our new overseas plant, using the DVD Jack made overseas and sent me yesterday by express mail. Operation is easy with the one touch DVD button. Later on during the meeting, my colleague is giving her presentation and the battery on her PC goes dead. Well, my VAIO T37GP has first class stamina, so I lend it to her. At the end of the meeting, I bring out copies of the DVD video already burned to DVD using RecordNow! 7 and pass out DVD discs to my sales team. Now, we can also show the plant DVD to our client. The presentation is a real success, thanks to VAIO T37GP super stamina!
Enjoying a well-deserved DVD "video vacation"
On my way back home, I swing by the café to unwind. I pull VAIO T37GP out of my bag, set it down on the counter, make sure a new movie DVD is in the drive, and put on my headphones. The 10.6" wide Clear Bright LCD makes the picture look terrific, and the 5.1ch surround sound is as good as at the theatre. And with VAIO T37GP's super stamina, there's plenty of battery life left to see a whole DVD. Hey, is that my phone? OK, I'll just push the Pause button for the movie, and take this call.
Jack's Business Trip...
Stamina, power, and smart size for the mobile professional
I travel overseas a lot for business. In the past, I always lugged along an A4-sized notebook. So heavy! Such short battery life! Then I noticed that my teammate, Kate, uses VAIO T37GP. I was amazed by its powerful performance, and especially impressed with its reliable stamina. So, I got my own VAIO T37GP! Now it's a "borderless world", and I can handle jobs seamlessly with my team back home at the head office. Last weekend, I shot a movie of the newly built local plant with my Handycam* and edited it at the hotel. Simply connected my Handycam* to my VAIO T37GP via i.LINK and transferred the movie using DVgate Plus. Then, I edited it, adding detailed captions and transitions by using Adobe® Premiere® Standard. When it was ready, "Click to DVD" took care of everything with just a few clicks. While VAIO T37GP was burning the DVD, I had a business dinner with a client. By the time I got back, everything was done. A good business deal and a great DVD! Since making DVDs is so easy, shooting videos on my business trip is a must. I'll simply edit the movies at home or on the road.

Traveling light with a whole collection of favorite hits
Today, I'm finally going home, but again my flight is delayed. I just emailed my wife to let her know I'll be getting in late, and emailed my sales team, too. Well, while I wait, I'll listen to some music on my VAIO T37GP. Luckily, before my trip I stored some new hit songs using SonicStage. Then I "fine tuned" the sound to match the music with SonicStage Mastering Studio Audio Filter for professional sound adjustment. I got great results! Moreover, my VAIO T37GP allows me to store my LP collection on the hard disk by using SonicStage Mastering Studio and EDIROL AUDIO capture UA-5* USB audio interface device. Well, I know what I want to do when I get home! Then, I'll be able to take along all those great songs I only listen to on my record player in the living room. VAIO T37GP certainly is convenient for mobile professionals like me, since there's no need to carry around a portable CD player just for music listening. Well, we're finally boarding! Wonder what movie they'll be showing on the flight? Well, who cares? Before the trip, I bought a DVD movie I've wanted to watch for a long time. So I've got lots of entertainment choices on my VAIO T37GP!
