With Click to Disc software and a connected video camcorder, digital still camera, Memory Stick or SD Memory Card, you're only a click away from creating your own Hollywood-style DVD masterpiece. You can easily burn original photo, movie+photo, and video DVDs on DVD±R/RW, DVD±R DL, and DVD-RAM discs. Use the Automatic Mode* for one-click operation or select Edit Mode for more personalised creation. You can add motion menus, use colourful templates, edit footage, and import still images. By choosing VAIO Animated Menu, a moving menu background with 5.1 surround sound music templates can even be created from original video clips.

Via i.LINK connector you have a fast, direct link between your video camcorder and the digital editing capabilities of the VAIO CR35G/B. With powerful software applications such as Adobe® Premiere® Elements professional video editing software, you can add a touch of flair to your standard and HD video footage in no time at all. Then burn your video content with ease on DVD media. You can also transfer and share data quickly and easily via Memory Stick, Memory Stick Duo, and Memory Stick PRO media, which can all be accommodated by the Memory Stick "combo" slot**. An SD Memory Card slot is also provided, letting you take full advantage of the accelerated data transfer speeds of next-generation SDHC cards and ExpressCard™/34 PC cards.

The VAIO CR35G/B is compatible with all the latest standards (IEEE 802.11a, IEEE 802.11b, IEEE 802.11g and IEEE 802.11Draft n) and provides performance up to an impressive 5GHz, depending on the access point. You can move around freely with assured connectivity, communicate with other devices, surf the Net, email your family or whatever you like — without cables holding you down!

Of the three competing Wireless LAN standards, 802.11b is the most commonly available. The 802.11g standard has the advantage of being downwardly compatible with 802.11b and offers a fast data transfer rate of up to 54Mbps (the same rate as 802.11a). The 802.11a standard offers fast connection and receives the least interference from other signals, making it the most stable of the standards.

In the past, when connecting a projector with a notebook PC having a wide screen or higher resolution LCD, you had to twiddle with controls for a few embarrassing moments to match the resolutions and aspect ratios of the two machines. But the VAIO CR35G/B lets you simply connect and display. That's because the Plug & Display function automatically adjusts the aspect ratio of VAIO CR35G/B (16:10) to the aspect ratio of the projector (4:3) — so presentation materials are displayed exactly the way they were intended.


Note:	Maximum resolution output may not be implemented when using projector devices not featuring EDID (Extended Display Identification Data).

A Complex Shroud Blade Fan keeps the VAIO CR35G/B running coolly and quietly for your comfort during long hours of use. It handles larger volumes of air, thanks to two-directional exhaust vents and specially shaped blades that move air more efficiently.
