Have you ever wanted to find vacation photos or sports videos saved on VAIO, and felt frustrated when you couldn’t find them quickly? With PMB (Picture Motion Browser), you can automatically organise pictures and movies into folders or according to the date that they were shot, simply by importing them into your VAIO. For example, you can see the record of a child’s growth by viewing pictures in chronological order, quickly and easily.
Search by shooting date on calendar display
By selecting Calendar in image management, thumbnails of all photos taken over the course of a year are displayed. Just search for pictures by month, date, and time, much like flipping through the pages of a calendar.
Find the movie scene you want at a glance
Multiple scenes from an imported movie are displayed as thumbnails of key scenes. You can smoothly search through lengthy footage for scenes that you want to watch. PMB is also equipped with Highlight Index, which automatically detects and displays highlights of movies. This allows you to find specific action scenes — for example, with laughter or cheering.

PMB also comes with other convenient enhanced functions for correcting images and displaying pictures on a map.
Easily adjust dark images
PMB is enhanced with photo editing functions to automatically correct photo brightness and contrast, as well as adjust brightness, tone gradation, saturation and sharpness, and make Red-eye Correction.

Cut out unnecessary parts
You can remove unwanted areas of photos, trim necessary areas and resize images.

Save movies as still images
Select and extract parts that you like from movies. You can save these frames as still images.

Register shooting locations on a map
Photos and movies with added location information can be displayed on an online map using the Map View function. This is convenient when you want to remember places visited during a trip or show friends where you shot your pictures.
